How to use AI image Generators

If you want to create images using an AI image generator, it’s good to know that your success will always depend on the prompt you enter. This prompt tells the model what to do and how to do it. For example a prompt like: "A mountain peak covered in snow with a palm tree with Christmas lights on top, photorealistic" can get you these results:

Changing the style will change outcome significantly:

A mountain peak covered in snow with a palm tree with Christmas lights on top, van Gogh

How to make better prompts for your image generating

Changing just one word in your prompt, in this case the style, drastically changes the output. There’s plenty of guides out there on how to create the best prompt. Key to remember is that each model will have their own hacks and tricks.

Want to learn more and have more concrete examples of how these prompts can be used to your advantage have a look here, or try one of these prompt creation tools.

But still, doing the same type of retrospective each sprint can feel boring after some time. The result? People zone out, leading to more superficial insights. In an attempt to make those retrospectives more fun, and therefore more valuable we tried using Machine Learning, and thus far that has worked! Here’s how we did it.

Memri was founded in 2020. In the following two years we’ve worked hard to get closer to reaching our goal: Create a personal AI optimized for your goals and that gives you control of your data. We knew from the beginning that our vision was very ambitious. At times that has been a blessing, and at other times a nightmare. It binds us and guides us, but it can also be daunting: Where do you even start?!

Empowering people with data

We continuously generate data and information that reveal our choices and motivations, but we have little control or access to it. Many of the services that we use prioritize data collection, while compromising our freedoms, agency and trust.

We are an open source community and we are tackling these challenges through shared creativity and collaboration. We build tools that empower people to create a new web - one that is private, trustworthy and free from centralized control.
